The Agency’s philosophy is for individuals to be employed in paid positions and receive a competitive wage. Through employment and volunteerism people can experience the benefits of being a participating member of the community. The Employment Support Program provides free assistance (job coaching) to adults with a developmental disability to learn and carry out the responsibilities associated with competitive employment and/or volunteer work. Staff are skilled at developing individual training. The Employment Support Program does not actively seek out employment, as there are community services which provide such services.
