The Community Support for Families Program is administered by Community Living-Central Huron in collaboration with Wingham & District Community Living, Community Living-South Huron and Anago (Non) Residental Resources Inc.  Services are provided by the program are comprehensive, flexible and promote an inclusive philosophy.  Community Support For Families administers:

Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities Benefit;

Special Services at Home Benefit; and

Family Support Workers.

Through these programs, staff aim to assist families/ caregivers by:

• completing application forms for the ACSD and SSAH benefits;

• examining what services and supports they and their family member require and refer them to other programs and services;

• finding potential contract workers;

• developing creative solutions using unpaid and supports;
