Special Services at Home Benefit
This is a Ministry of Children and Youth Services program that provides funding to purchase supports to assist children who have a developmental disability or physical disability and adults who have a developmental disability who are being cared for by a parent or guardian.
The SSAH may provide funding for:

parental relief;

personal development and growth to help individuals achieve their specific goals; and

one-to-one support.
Each family has a unique set of circumstances. Should you qualify and receive S.S.A.H. funding, further assistance may be available to locate supports in the community.
